This talk will focus on the importance of interpreting behavior as a communicative tool. Guest speaker Amit Alon MS, CCC-SLP, will share her core professional beliefs and experiences with multiple examples. Parents are encouraged to ask questions throughout the presentation.


"The Law and Our Children: What Special Education Parents Need to Know"

This presentation will give a general overview of the legal protections available to parents of children receiving special education accommodations from special education law to estate planning, including setting up a trust and guardianship. Attorney Pamela B. Greenfield focuses her practice in elder law, asset protection planning and complex MassHealth applications and appeals. Pam additionally represents families and skilled nursing facilities in guardianship and conservatorship matters as well as probate and estate administration.
